![[image]](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/ninjagerbil23/Lost/ploticon3.jpg) On September 22, 2004 Oceanic Flight 815 crashed somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. To the outside world it is believed that all the passengers are dead, that they drowned when the plane supposedly crashed into the ocean. But that was not the fate of the Oceanic passengers. The plane crashed onto an unknown island and while some did die the crash did leave survivors. Amidst panic and chaos, those who survived the crash were thrust into a world where everything they once were was meaningless, where their only hope for survival was in each other. Most hoped for a quick rescue and a safe return to their normal lives but it soon became apparent that rescue was not coming.
And so the survivors banded together, for better or for worse, against the forces on the island. From a mysterious black smoke monster, to the island’s previous inhabitants, nothing was easy for the survivors of Oceanic 815. They were plagued with kidnappings, murder, and betrayal. These survivors were constantly put to the test and forced to fight for their survival. Friends were made just as easily as enemies and the lines between good and bad were quickly drawn. The idea of rescue was quickly forgotten as survival became their biggest worry.
But after all thoughts of rescue had been abandoned a glimmer of hope was brought to the forefront of the Survivors’ minds with the arrival of Naomi, a woman who claimed to be from a ship just mere kilometers away. But during her drop onto the island Naomi sustained fatal injuries and passed away before Desmond and his group could get her back to camp. The group was left to continue back on their own and deliver words of rescue to their friends, but things are not as they seem with the awaiting rescue. For just as soon as Desmond’s group made it back with their news and a satellite phone Locke appeared with warnings about these mysterious rescuers, that they were not their to save them, leaving the group of Survivors torn on where to go from here.

Plans to abduct the pregnant woman from the crash survivors have been put on hold in an attempt to reach the safety of their destination. But Ben knows the safety of the Temple will only last so long before the Survivors find them again and is looking for any way to hold onto his slipping control over the events taking place on the island.

And what will Ben and the Others do to protect their way of life on the island? As the lines between black and white become blurred on both sides the question is no longer will the Survivors triumph over the Others but rather who will make their own destiny and live to see their wants fulfilled.
